Envoy offers visitor management within a wider workplace platform. Arrivane focuses its monthly site subscription on arrivals, induction, contractor records and attendance follow-up. Both can be relevant to an office reception; the important question is which plan covers your actual security and workplace requirements.
When Envoy is a better fit
Envoy Basic is free with a published limit of 100 entries per month. A small reception with simple requirements may find that sufficient. At the other end of the range, Envoy’s enterprise visitor offering includes specialist security and access-control options. Those capabilities can justify evaluating an enterprise plan independently of the reception interface.
The current Premium price is US$362 per location per month, billed annually. That is a US-dollar annual commitment, not an Australian-dollar monthly purchase. Enterprise uses custom pricing. Check which visitor, identity and emergency communication products are included in the proposal; a wider workforce response service is not automatically the same thing as visitor notifications.
When Arrivane is a better fit
Arrivane is worth considering when your team wants a broad set of arrival tools in a modest monthly site subscription. It combines invitations, site inductions with images and quizzes, document review, screening questions, printable passes and reporting. Reception and authorised workplace teams share the recorded arrivals and departures.
That simplicity has boundaries. Arrivane does not offer native app-store applications, door access or identity-document scanning. Its roll calls support your procedures and do not certify occupancy or replace emergency response arrangements. Compare the daily workflows it does provide with the Envoy plan you would buy, and keep currency and billing term visible throughout the decision.
How to decide
Choose Envoy Basic if its free allowance and workflow cover your reception, or evaluate its enterprise offering for mandatory security controls. Choose Arrivane when its arrival and contractor tools meet your needs and an AUD monthly site plan is preferable. Avoid comparing an enterprise package against a free tier or treating USD and AUD figures as interchangeable.
